With a national wide customer base they are the distributors of industrial sensors, programmable logic controllers, process instrumentation, HMI?s, unattended code scanning, intrinsically safe interfaces and radio frequency identification systems just to name a few.Reporting to the managing director your role primarily is to actively promote the company?s products to a large existing client base as well as having an opportunistic approach to seek out new business opportunities within the market place. Although the primary focus is sales there are technical aspects to this role specifically required in the commissioning and servicing of projects. As a senior sales engineer/sales manager you will have the additional responsibility of mentoring sales engineers, managing their performance and helping them with their strategic focus. To be successful for this role you will ideally have a fundamental knowledge in industrial sensors and their applications. More specifically product knowledge in inductive sensors, capacitive sensors, ultrasonic sensors, photoelectric, AS-Interface protocol, programmable logic controllers, encoders or laser sensors would be held in high regard. This role will require an experience sales professional that can effectively work autonomously and have managed key accounts in the past. Additionally, it will be important that you are strategic in your approach to the market and enjoy being in front of customers.This is a great opportunity for sales engineer that has demonstrated achievements in sales, wishing to move into a team leading/managing role.
